Churches Together Songs of Praise: All are welcome to this Palm Sunday service at St John’s W Byfleet at 6.30pm on the 5^th April.

Spend a Penny (or 20p) for Tearfund: The bucket by the Church door? Each one of us gets up in the morning, goes to the bathroom, flushes and thinks nothing of it, but for 40% of the world’s people this would be a great luxury – 40% of the world’s population lives without adequate sanitation and form them having a toilet can encourage more children to go to school, give workers strength to farm, offer women freedom to work and be independent, keep people safe from fatal diseases, sexual assaults and poisonous snakes

If 50 of us give 20p each week (10p cheaper than the 30p charged at Waterloo!)  that’s £10, and by the end of the year we will have close to £500 which will be sent to Tearfund towards their projects to provide basic sanitation in the areas where they work!
